Harmon CFO Will Serve As NMSU'S 1995 Executive-In-Residence

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. (Thursday, March 30, 1995) -- Charles M. "Chuck" Foudree, executive vice president-finance and chief financial officer of Blue Springs, Mo.-based Harmon Industries, is Northeast Missouri State University's (NMSU) selection for this year's Executive-In-Residence Program. Foudree, a Huntsville, Mo. native, earned his bachelor of science in accounting from NMSU in 1966. He will provide his insight and experiences to NMSU business students during an on-campus visit April 2-4.

Through the Executive-In-Residence program, funded by an endowment to the school's division of business and accountancy, each year the university selects a successful business person to spend several days on campus to provide insight and stimulate discussion with students about business and accounting principles.

"I'm honored to have the opportunity to work with bright students and share my experiences in both accountancy and the corporate environment," said Foudree. "I'm really excited to interact with future business people and discuss their innovative ideas and visions. It will be a learning experience for everyone."

Foudree's participation will include special emphasis on how he handles the day-to-day challenges in the corporate business environment. The objective is to provide students a better understanding of the practical matters of business.

After graduating from NMSU, Foudree earned his CPA and spent six years with KPMG Peat Marwick before joining Harmon in 1972. He was named officer and director of Harmon in that same year following a successful initial public offering.
